The Principal Accountant General (A&E) maintains the individual GPF accounts of nearly 2.9 lakh employees of the AP State Government. The staff of the Govt. of AP are eligible to join the Fund.All Government servants including those appointed on or before 31.08.2004 under Rule 10(a)(i) of the State and Subordinate Service Rules are eligible.All re-employed pensioners (other than those employed for admission to CPF) and those Government servants who have not completed one year service shall be eligible on option.After the close of each financial year, the Principal Accountant General sends to each subscriber an Annual Accounts Statement showing the opening balance as on the 1st April of the year, the total amount deposited and withdrawn during the year, amount of interest credited as on 31st March of the year and the closing balance on that date. Subscribers have to satisfy themselves as to the correctness of the Account Statements and errors should be brought to the notice of the Principal Accountant General within three months of receipt of the same.The slips are available in the website at http://ag.ap.nic.in/SlipsGpf.aspx or www.agap.cag.gov.in/slipsgpf.aspx directly

ReplyDeleteI am from PR and my a/c no is 1998/PR, and my mobile number which was registered is the same as of that i am using today and i confirmed this as i was again registering the mobile number it said the a/c is already registered this number. My problem is it is showing "Enter valid GPF A/C no.". I am unaware weather the a/c no's were changed or it is showing some error.
